The St. Louis Park City Council meets, Monday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m. for a study session to discuss a single-family rental density cap, part of the housing and neighborhood-oriented development system discussion. Also on the agenda: a solid waste program update. View the agenda and reports.
This meeting will conclude the housing and neighborhood-oriented development system discussion, which included topics at the Oct. 17 and 24 and Nov. 7 and 14 study sessions.
Members of the public can attend the study session in person, watch by webstream at bit.ly/watchslpcouncil, or watch on local cable (Comcast SD channel 17/HD channel 859). Public input is not taken at study sessions. Recordings are available to watch on the city’s YouTube channel usually within 24 hours of the end of the council meeting or study session.
About the systems discussion pilot project
In 2022, the city council began piloting an effort to group study session topics (called “systems discussions”) according to the city’s five strategic priorities. Race equity and inclusion will conclude the cycle of systems discussions for 2022, with the first discussion set for Dec. 12. Community engagement, environmental stewardship, infrastructure and housing and neighborhood-oriented development system discussions took place throughout the year.
