The City of St. Louis Park starts its fiscal year 2027 budget planning this May. Residents can mark their calendars for key public budget dates:

• Aug. 3: The council reviews the first draft of the general fund budget.
• Sept. 8: Presentation of the 10-year capital improvement plan to the city council.
• Sept. 22: The council considers the preliminary property tax levy.

In conjunction with this year’s budget process, the finance team is proud to introduce its new online budget book. The budget book is an interactive tool offering a new look at how public dollars are allocated to support city services, invest in infrastructure improvements, and build a stable financial future for the city.
