The city has developed a transition plan to make city streets, sidewalks and trails more accessible, as outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The plan specifically addresses city policies, programs and steps needed to ensure public facilities within public right of way are ADA compliant and accessible to all individuals.

The transition plan provides a better understanding of how St. Louis Park is working to improve access for everyone in the right of way.

Filing a complaint for a concern within the public right of way

Residents with questions or concerns regarding accessibility within the public right of way are encouraged to contact the City of St. Louis Park's Engineering Director by phone or email.

The City of St. Louis Park is committed to making our transportation facilities accessible to everyone.  

Most complaints can be resolved without resorting to lengthy and costly procedures. If, however, you reach a point where you feel it is necessary to file a formal complaint, please follow the city’s grievance procedure.
